42 Students Plead No Contest to Drinking

As reported by the AP on Newsday.com, 42 football players, cheerleaders and band members were charged with underage drinking when caught with alcohol at a teacher's home. The teacher was 'taking a nap' at the time? Sorry, but I don't buy that. This is one more reason we as parents need to be diligent in raising our teens. If our teenagers want to go to a party, great! By all means, we want them to have a social life. But we have to check it out first, and maybe during too? After all, the police busted the party 'after finding an unconscious female student by a road. She was treated for alcohol poisoning and released.' ACK!
