Making Halloween Costumes

Monday October 23, 2006
Teens are notorious for waiting until the last minute and then asking for the impossible to happen. You can help your teen learn how to organize himself/herself simply by helping him/her get ready for Halloween. Have your teen get a piece of paper and a pencil and chose which Halloween costume he/she wants to create. Have him/her write a list of what they need, then next to each item write where to find it.(store, basement, Aunt Ida, etc.) Then have him/her write the day that it will be needed by. Be sure that each thing will be at your home in his/her possession by two days before Halloween. This process will keep your Halloween a little more stress free.
