How To Have a Sleepover Party for Teen Girls

Monday October 29, 2007
You do not have to run and hide when your teen asks for a sleepover party. Its not hard to throw one of these and now that your daughter is a little older, she can help with the preparation! My middle daughter is just starting to have girlfriends over for the night and I can see that a sleepover birthday party is something she’ll be asking for soon. Guess I’ll start that how to article shortly. Any tips? Let me know in the comments area.

I have a 14 year old and 10 year old daughter. The best tip I have is that when my 14 year old has a sleep over, my younger daughter has a friend over too, or even better, nana invites her for a sleep over, otherwise, she just wants to hang with the older girls and it doesn’t go over well :0)

Also mandatory clean up after, either a quicky before the guests leave (most of them are very familiar with being at our house already) or when they leave.

A theme is also fun and be sure to get ready in plenty of time for a lot less stress and last minute running to the store.

another tip make sure that all of the children and their parents are aware of what time the sleep over will end. Nothing worse than having kids who are lagging still at your house when you ahve errands or chores that need to be done.

Hi. im only 13 but i know how it feel when going through tough times and having a older sister there just to make it harder. I think mabey you should start saying no to some of the sleepovers shes having, otherwise she will get overly tired and angry. Also with the 15 yr old. She is probly feeling the same and feeling annoye3d because of what the younger sister gets to do and not her. Try to even out there time with you and the time of fun they both have if you know what i mean.

Hey. I’m 14 years old. I want to have a sleepover with my new friends, and with my old friends. I just started high school, and I’m a Freshman. I’m not sure how to convince my parents that I can and responsible enough to have one. What should I do?
