Denise's Parenting Teens BlogWhy do teenagers give in to peer pressure?Sometimes we just have to ask ourselves the very same question. Why do we conform to peer pressure? Sure, it sounds scary when we think of our teens being molded by their peer group. But have you thought about how much you are molded by your peers? It's not the peer pressure parents need to be afraid of so much as the negative behaviors the peer group is involved in. If we can change the negative behaviors into positive behaviors, hmmm... that would just make peer pressure pretty darn helpful, wouldn’t it?
