Teens Have Fewer Aids for Kicking the Smoking Habit
Tuesday November 18, 2008
CNN Health has reported that teenagers don’t have the resources adults have when it comes to quitting smoking. ‘Smoking cessation drugs, patches, gum and lozenges are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration for anyone under 18.’ Couple that with the fact that underage teens aren’t lawfully allow to have cigarettes so they aren’t signing up for support groups. This could be behind the reason why smoking rates among 9th- to 12th-graders have remained stable for the past five years.

Last year, oh what an awful year it twas. my teenage daughter Andrea, what a good girl she twas, until she twas influenced to smoke socially with her friends, then she became so addicted she started to influence my darling 7 year old Annabelle. I just cant get her to quit, its so hard to find help, no one understands! and i am worried that the other six, some of which arent mine will suffer too!!
ok, woman ‘menfold’ you are seriously messed up and obviously an awful mother! kick your child out, thats what i did to my four children, and now they pay me respect. i dont do drugs, never have, never will, waste of time i say, and ,my quote is:
if u cant do the time, dont do the crime.
I am so blessed to have three young men for children. All boys, ages 22, 19 and 18. My husband and I smoke cigarettes in the house, and although we have a really good air purifier, I think it gets into the kid’s clothes, and then the school thinks that my kids are smoking! The truth of the matter is, they don’t drink, do drugs or smoke butts. I know that for a fact b/c I used to dabble in the above substances.
