Thrifty Thursday Tip for Teens: Order In
Thursday May 21, 2009
One tip my daughter is trying out recently is eating in with her friends, as opposed to stopping at the local burger joint to hang out. Purchasing food that can be made while enjoying your friend's company in your own kitchen can save big bucks. For instance, you can purchase enough frozen hot wings and fresh celery at the grocery store to feed 6 people for the same cost as 2 orders of hot wings at the local eatery. Here a few fun food suggestions:
- Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Oreo Pizza
- Mexican Pizza
- Cheesy Corn Dogs
- Pizza Bagels
- Hawaiian Pizza
