I do this grocery money saving trick more often in the cooler fall and winter months, but we just had a great sale on chicken at our local store, so I cooked today. It's simple to do this and it really saves on time and money. First, find a family favorite meal that can be frozen - like this Easy BBQ Chicken Recipe, then double it. Serve one-half to your family, freeze the other. Now you'll have a meal already cooked at the sale price, simply thaw and heat the next time you want BBQ chicken.
