One could argue that Ryan needs to get on board with the rest of the show, however. I think it's disingenuous to put those kids through a homework assignment and a full show on Believability, then only pick 'the most talented' singer at the end of the day. Also, Hannah won the homework, so she got the most up-close face time on the video - easier to find her faults. I believe too that Hannah's size didn't give her any help - not so much when it came to who Ryan was voting for - but it did bring down her confidence level. Nevertheless, my daughters think that next year, the producers should consider placing the winner of the homework assignment directly on the call back list. I agree.
Talking points with your teen: If you liked someone at school, should you tell them? Would you keep liking someone even though they didn't like you? How do you think you should approach someone you want to date, but you don't know them yet?
What did you think of tonight's show? Was it Hannah's time to leave? Is your teen a Hannah fan? Do you think it was her confidence that took her down or something else? Please post your thoughts in our comments area.

I agree that Hannah was ‘believable’ and deserved to be called back. There were others who even Ryan admitted lacked compassion (believability). This is the 2nd time I think the show was judged unfairly. Marissa being the first…
I think they made a huge mistake by getting rid of Hannah, I think it should have been Lindsey, she is fake and needs to go home.
I think they should have kicked Lindsay..she is so fake! I really don’t want to see her on Glee.
Automatic pass for the homework winner does not quite work, IMO. Maybe the homework assignment mentor should be included in the choice of the bottom three.
I very much like Murphy’s comments…. the realism of hearing the comments of a guy whose job it is to make yes/no calls many times a day. I think some of his toughest comments are i constructive. For example, Samuel gave a great performance and knew it, but Murphy got through to him, scared him, got his attention saying good, but – I want more.
I really didn’t get the decision this week. If anyone should go home on a week where the theme was “Believability”, it should have been Lindsey, who seems to be such a fake. The mentors were commenting on it throughout the entire show, about how Lindsey just did not seem genuine. Hell-O! Even if Hannah comes across with a lack of confidence, she never once seemed fake, and do you not think that self-confidence is a believable issue with todays teens? All I know is that I’d rather watch seven weeks of Hannah on Glee then just about any of the other remaining contestants.
If Hannah is “The Show” to quote Ryan Murphy… Why was she booted?? The other two were “Better Singers” Yes!!! But was it a singing contest or a measure of how believable one is.
Hannah has been believable from Day 1. In fact, as I see it, Lindsey and Samuel are the Two Least believable of all. Samuel with the “I have “I love Jesus” Tattooed on the back of the neck….want to see it?” statement. That was a direct reaction to Murphy’s statement about – wanting to write into the show a Christian character like Cameron but he quit – remark…. “Oooh Ooooh I can do it, see my Tatoo… see…see!!” – - phony.
No need to go into Lindsay. She was so blatant with the ‘croc’ tears in the booth, She would have made Johnny Ray proud. By the way personally I think she must be a wonderful kid, just caught up in the moment and a tad confused about what people are actually looking for in her.
This is a great show, one of the best I have seen in years…
Please give Hannah a “Call Back” under the guise that there was such an overwhelming nation wide response to the judge’s decision that the powers-that-be ordered it.
