The Planet Jupiter
'Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. In fact, by mass, it's more than twice as large as all the other planets combined. In composition, Jupiter is very much like a small version of our Sun.' Ideas: Build a scale model of our solar system. Explain the forces at work when the Jupiter orbits the sun. What keeps it in place? Is it moving farther away? Study pictures. What are the features of this planet? Could they support some kind of life? Why or why not?
