There are ways for your teen to make money for college without you spending money to have someone find them. As a matter of fact, if you pay a company for information on where to find a scholarship, generally you've just been scammed.
Those who offer scholarships DO need people to apply. Therefore this information is offered freely. Companies that do the searching for you have the information to scholarships with the listing of criteria for each one. But, there are free services Online that offer the same information, check these out Scholarship Searches, its worth the $50.00 to $2000.00 that you will not have to fork out during those college years.
Yes, you will have to search them out yourself, but that isn't going to be the difficult part. It may be more difficult to get your teen to write the essay or project needed to get the scholarship. Therefore, make sure what needs to be done is of interest to your teen first.
