Larna Indiana

What can be said to relieve the shock and the grief of losing a child? I am so sorry and want you to know you are in my prayers.

Unknown

I have been grieving for these victims since the day it happened. the violence has to stop, our children should be safe at school. I will pray for your families, that GOD will sustain you and help you in your pain and although it will never cease maybe some comfort will come to you. all the world is praying for you.

Lisa, Seaview, Washington

I am very sorry for the loss of life that resulted in the horrific events of April 20th. My son will be 5 soon and I worry where the world is going, and why it takes such tragedy to gain the attention of the populace. Know that my heart, along with millions of others are with you...

Laurie, NM

God bless you.

Thelma-Illinois

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of need.

Sandra, Louisiana

I am so sorry. May God bless and heal each of you who has survived this horrible, senseless tragedy. Your children, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, and friends are lost to you, but now rest in Jesus's arms and are enveloped in His eternal love. May the knowledge of God's love for you and them bring you succor and surcease from your pain and help you to overcome your grief.

Sandy Mi

On behalf of myself and children we offer our prayers and thoughts. We cannot imagine what you must feel right now. But remember, there are millions of people around the globe that have you in their prayers.

God Bless You and may our lord watch over you.

Rachel Michigan

I am very sorry for all of your losses, those of the parents, friends, family, community and nation. I teach high school and the line between freedom/privacy/individuality and rules for the group is a difficult one to find. What has happened in your school has been the focus of much conversaion in my chemistry class. Perhaps your loss will start conversations everywhere and encourage kindness and civility toward each other.

ro, new jersey

dear families,
As i sit and look at my 3 kids(ages 21,20 and 8) and my 14 mo. old granddaughter, i wonder what the hole in your life feels like. i wonder how your going to go on. i am so sorry, for what has happened to you!!!! i only hope that some day,it can be a little easier for you all. take care of yourselves and the rest of your family. know you have prayers and people that do care all over. i wish i had the words to help!

Dawn From Texas

I have family near Littleton so this news especially hit me hard. I could, only a few short years ago, have been my cousin in that school. I don't understand the hatred that spurred this horrible killing spree. i know it must have been hatred that was taught to those children, I always tell people that say "I hate this or that or such and such person," Why don't you spend your energy hating something worthwhile of your hatred. Like hate war. Hate hatred. Hate prejudice. Now that's worth hating. If only people could learn that other people are just other people and not a color or an income bracket or a talent. I am so sad for your loss. These innocent children will make Heaven a better place. Take consolation in that. My love and embraces to all of you who suffered a loss.

Dana Florida

You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

I, too, have lost a son,but not like this. I can only send my heartfelt sympathy to all of you. Nothing anyone says or does will help now, but I hope you let God take your hand and lead you through the days and months ahead. I will pray for you and hope you come to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Jill from Tennessee

Oh, how I wish I could take this away for all of you. My heart is breaking and I didn't even know your children. Please take comfort in knowing that an entire nation is standing behind you and praying for you in what has to be the darkest days of your lives. One ray of light in this whole mess, your children have now achieved what we all live for and dream of attaining, they are in Heaven and they are in the loving arms of Jesus...no more pain or sorrow there. My sympathies are with you.

Regena Texas

My thoughts and prayers are with you in the coming days and months. I, too, have a 17 y/o son and cannot imagine losing my child like you all have. The pain must be horrible.

unknown

So sorry for your loss. No words can begin to express the horror that parents across the country all feel. And the sorrow at the realization that these things can go on right under our noses to the people that we love the most. Praying for you all.

Becky - Pearl, MS

My understanding and prayers are for all of Littleton. May Littleton recover and become a stronger and closer community. May we all work toward a more peaceful environment in which we all may live and care more for each other. The tragedy here in Pearl brought me to a greater understanding of my two teenagers and the many problems they face. Bitterness is not the answer - uncondictional love, support for each other from the entire community and true communication will enable healing of this angry world.
