From Denise D Witmer, the Parenting of Adolescents Guide at the Mining Co. There are no words that can express the greatness of the sorrow that you must be going through. I am hard pressed to find the condolences that will express how I am feeling about this horrific day that literally stole a piece of your heart. Simply put, I am so terribly sorry that life has dealt you this card. May you find solace for your grief in the love of your family and friends. From Alicia, MN I can't imagine not seeing my son come home from school today. It is so sad, and I hope that one day you will be able to look back on the good memories you have of your child, and you won't be consumed by the aweful event that took place. From Ron, TX I'll never understand why people do the things they do to other people. Normally, I leave for work long before my daughters get up for school. Today I waited for them to leave first and I thought about you and the kids you lost. I hope this is a wake up call to the rest of the country, like it was for me. I'm sorry for your loss. Suzanne - California I am so saddened and outraged by this act of selfishness and depravity. May the One who understands you sorrow grant you strength to go on.
Brad Lang, As the father of two high-school-aged children, I am personally horrified by this tragedy. While very little good can ever come from such a terrible event, I hope that it may at least move us closer to a day when we will have less violence in our films and other media, and fewer weapons in the hands of our children and adults alike. Bonnie California I haven't got the right words but my heart is full of sympathy and sorrow for your tragic losses.
Cathleen Henning To the families of Littleton ... may you find healing comfort in the thoughts and prayers being sent your way from around the world. We mourn your tragedy with you. Deb, Florida People often don't know what to say to those who are grieving. Know that you are remembered in our thoughts and prayers. Marlene - New Mexico To all the familes who have lost a very special part of themselves. There are no words to descride the degree of pain you are feeling. My prayers for you are that something good will come out of this great great lost for each one of you. Also you will have the comfort of knowing that these dear ones are walking the STREETS OF GOLD....in the company of the LORD.God's peace to your city, your home, your families. Debbie Ohio My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your story struck so close to home. You see, I lost my daughter a year and half ago. She got in a car with some one she didn't know. There all kinds of weapons out there that our children are using to kill other people's children. It makes you wonder where you went wrong and it makes you angry that these children aren't learning right from wrong. What is this world coming too? I hope that as days go by that your pain lessens and that all your questions are answered. Just beleive with all your heart that your children are not in any more pain and will not have to endure any of this worlds pain any more. This beleif has gotten me through the last year and half. I know in my heart that God has our children now and they will live on with him. Love and Peace to you. Julie North Dakota There is little one can say at a time like this but just know that you are remembered in our thoughts and prayers. Bill N.J.
