I'm a mother of five and it's been hard for me to see your tragedies being shown on TV. We have had family discussions and the Sunday school teachers have been talking to our kids about what they're feeling. I hope that my family never has to experience anything even remotely as tragic as the things you must be going through. You are in many peoples thoughts and prayers - we wish you comfort in your time of sorrow.
Jinna Washington

I grieve for your loss. I, too, have a teenage daughter. The world must, indeed, be weeping that we have come to this..... I pledge to do anything I personally can to eradicate the conditions which made this possible..... giving additional validity to the sacrifice of your loved one's life....
Beth from Georgia
Dear Precious Families of Littleton, This past week has been a tragedy in your town and in mine. Upon hearing about your tragedy we all began praying for you and your extended families and friends. We can never imagine what you are going through...we don't know the answer to this senseless crime against humanity..BUT we know the ONE who does...Without Jesus Christ none of us can go on with our lives and be productive human beings. My prayer is that through this tragedy many will seek HIS face and turn from their wicked ways. In Thomson, GA this past Friday night at an innocent Baseball game another tragedy occurred. The city of Thomson lost a beautiful 14 year old boy in a 'freak' accident while playing his favorite sport. Adam McCorkle was stealing third base (as directed) and was hit by the catcher's throw to third base! The hit that his chest sustained was enough to bruise his heart terribly. Adam never recovered. This beautiful young soul didn't just try to 'steal' 3rd...He went all the way HOME to be with his Savior---Jesus Christ! As we pray for your families and friends, I ask that you also say a prayer for this beautiful family in Thomson, GA that is also suffering.
Erin, Pennsylvania
What happened last week was utterly tragic. I feel terribly for the devastation that has been brought upon your families. Know that people all around the world are praying for you. We are all struggling to grasp how a hatred can be so strong in people so young, with so much to look forward to in life. As a high school student I am scared. The incident is too close to home for me. Again, I am sorry for your losses, and I will be thinking of all of you and praying for you.
Becky Tennessee
God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
Kristin Utah
I really feel for you. You are in my prayers.

Ellen, Ohio
When something so tragic as this happens, our eyes are opened. We stand back and examine our own community and wonder if/when it will occur. No words can express your feelings of loss. I just hope and pray that God will give you the strength to overcome this tragedy. I wish to send our deepest sympathy to all the families touched by the violence in Littleton.
Kathy, Wisconsin
I to have lost a family member to a senseless act as this. Some people say get over it. It has been over 18 years, & I don't think that will happen. You never get over something like this. All you can do, is take one day at a time. My heart goes out to all the loved ones touched in this tragity. Remember all the good times you had with your loved one. Look forward, but remember the past. The world's prayers are with all of you! Your loved one's are with the lord. You need to take care of yourself for their sake. They wouldn't want you to fall apart. We also live in the Waterford area in Wisconsin. I now have Grandchildren, all I can pray is this world get's safer for everyone's sake. It's just too violent. Love & Prayers are with you all, we won't forget because your loved ones wouldn't have wanted it that way. We just can go on.
Brenda North Carolina
We are so very sorry for your grief..This tradegy has been felt all over the world. We have a 16 year old in high school, and realize now that this can happen anywhere.. It's all too often we see and hear about this on National TV, the loss of innocent lives, the heart-breaking parents that are now without their loving children. Something has to be done to protect our children, even if it means, us as parents, monitoring the halls at the schools where our children go. We should volunteer our time to make sure the schools are safe.. Parents of Littleton, our hearts and prayers go out to you and we feel your pain as we see on TV the hurt and sorrow you are going through.. God Bless you all. Richard, Brenda & Trevor Smith
Sharon, California
What a terrible tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire student body and their families. I could not imagine what you all must be feeling. We must however, keep in mind that not everyone is like these two boys. We must have faith that the majority of US parents are raising children to respect the value of life here on earth. God Bless
Judy, Oregon
My heart pours out to you all... I cannot even begin to comprehend your profound grief. You have lost family members in such a horrific way. They all had so much promise, and now their lives are gone... We can only hope that some good will come of all this tragedy. That you and your loved ones have not lost entirely in vain. We will remember your loved ones and love them as our own. We will cry at their funerals as they are televised across the country. And we will hope to our Heavenly God that nothing like this ever happens again. We shall not forget.
Susan Alabama

To the students of Columbine High and the families of those lost in such a senseless tragedy. My deepest thoughts are with you. I can't imagine the tremendous grief you must be feeling to know that two of your own could do such a horrible thing. I will continue to pray for you and the community in the days, weeks, and months to come. Please trust and know that you are being held up by millions of fellow Americans. I hope that this knowlege might help to ease the pain you are feeling if only a small bit. I am in education, and it absolutely scares to death and saddens me that our schools are no longer a safe and secure haven for our children. May God be with you and give you peace as you try to move forward and put this tragedy behind you. God bless.

Dear Parents and families, Being the parent of two teenagers, my heart goes out to you. I don't know why these things happen. No one does. Please know that you are in my prayers. To all the friends & families of the Littleton,Colorado shooting; even though my husband & I don't have any children & we've never been through this same kind of grief you have, we are still thinkng of all of you out there & your families. This is just terrible, what happened in that school. I believe the parents of the 2 boys that did the shooting, should also be held accountable.Everything at that age starts in the home.Parents are a childs biggest peer. Anyway, our thoughts & prayers go out to everyone.

How many more wake up calls must we face before we get control? Violence continues to be a problem; we need the immediate attention of all parents, schools, government leaders, and the media. We must be intrusive...get involved...now. God Bless Us All.
