I am curious to find out the exact way in which Ludo Bagman was related to the DeathEaters. Somehow I am not convinced that he was innocent after all. Of course, the Wizengamot had cleared him of all charges, as we saw in the 4rth book, when Harry was having a look in Dumbledore's thoughts in the Pensieve. But Winky said clearly that Ludo Bagman was a bad wizard, and Rita Skiter implies it as well, in OoP.
