Prom Tip: Setting the Curfew

No doubt about it the Prom is a special occasion. Therefore, a special curfew is in order. Discuss the after prom options with your teenager and use them to decide the curfew. If there is an all night lock-in, so much the better. If there is a private party at a home, call the parents of the teenager who is hosting.

While I strongly feel curfew lead way should be given for this occasion, you should be comfortable with your teen's plans. Let your teen in on this fact before you start the discussion. If they know they can get more as long as they are doing something fun that you approve of, they will be more apt not to turn the discussion into a debate.
