• Donations to a charity are always welcomed by teachers. One that my daughter and I prefer is Heifer International. We get her teachers a flock of chicks to help end world hunger.

• Get together with your friends and do a cookie exchange for teacher gifts. Each of you bakes one to two dozens of a certain kind of cookie for each person in the exchange. Use coffee cans to wrap cookies. Wrap the outside of the can and top of the lid with wrapping paper. This makes a great teacher gift. ~ Denise

• Fill a basket with things they can use throughout the year. Pens, pencils, notepads, stickers, etc. ~ Denise
