• Journals or Diaries:
  These are popular among teens and preteens. Add some stickers with this gift to make it that much more fun. ~ Denise

• Don't forget a card or a letter. Tell your spouse how important they are by sharing how wonderful the past year was to you. ~ Denise

• Hope Chest Items:
  Items such as dishes or small appliances are wonderful for an older teenager who is looking to be out own their own in one or two years. ~ Denise

• Your Time:
  One-on-one time is very valuable. Make a date with your teenager for lunch and shopping or dinner and a movie. If you have more than one child, make a date with each one separately. Give them your attention for Christmas. ~ Denise

• Books:
  Even if your teenager isn't an avid reader, there are some great books out right now that might tempt them to become one. The Chicken Soup for a Teenager Soul series is absolutely excellent, Harry Potter makes life a fantasy, and Judy Blume's books have not gone out of style. ~ Denise

• Movie Tickets:
  Many of the movie theaters offer ticket booklets at a discount. ~ Denise
