- 1/2 cup shortening
- Green unsweetened Kool-aid, until it is at the darkness you wish
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
- Plastic bag, zip ones do best
- Hot water in pot(not boiling), tongs
This recipe makes a fun time for girls getting ready to go to a Halloween party. Place shortening in the plastic bag and seal leaving the air out. Place bag in the hot water until shortening is melted. Fish bag out of the water with the tongs and add the green Kool-aid and sugar. Mix well. Cut the corner of the plastic bags and pour into containers.
