What you'll need:
- Notebook or paper
- Pen
- Story starter
At the beginning of the party, explain to the guests that when they get the notebook, they have to add one sentence - and only one sentence - to the story written there. The notebook gets passed around during the rest of the party. Guests may add to the story more than once, but only one sentence at a time. At the end of the night, someone reads the bedtime story to all of the guests.
Story starters:
- It was a hot summer night and air was still...
- The air was crisp as Mr. Mason lead his biology class down the autumn trail...
- Spring isn't the only thing that sprung at Haggletown High...
- A chill was in the air as the winter storm flurried into being....
- They gathered for ________'s party, not knowing what lie ahead....
