Make a Movie T-shirt
tshirt crafts teens Denise D. Witmer
This t-shirt is easy and fun and can be made for any movie. My teen daughter and I made this one. She loves the Twilight movies so much she chose to use the online poster for this teen craft. You can use any high quality image of any movie, celebrity or one of you and your friends.

What you'll need:

  • Tshirt; cotton(white or colored)
  • Printable iron-on transfer paper(for your type of shirt, white or colored)
  • Iron and ironing board
  • High quality image, one that you can use for personal use
  • MS Word or similar program
Copy the high quality image into your MS Word. Click twice on the picture so that you can edit it. Flip it horizontally, so that it looks like the mirror reflection of the image. Size it to the size you want and print it out on your iron-on transfer paper.

Heat your iron to it's hottest without steam. Iron the front of your shirt to take out any wrinkles before you lay down the transfer paper. Place the image directly on the shirt where you want the transfer. Press down on the paper with the iron for a full three minutes in each spot until you have ironed the entire transfer paper.

Slowly peel away one of the corners to be sure the transfer took to the shirt. If not, lay the corner back down and continue to iron. When It is ready peel the transfer paper off.

Enjoy this simple craft with your teen.
