This searchable directory of drug and alcohol treatment programs shows the location of facilities around the country that treat alcoholism, alcohol abuse and drug abuse problems. This online service is provided by SAMHSA.
Girls and Boys Town National Hotline
Provided for teens and parent of teenagers. Trained counselors can respond to your questions every day of the week, 365 days a year. A wonderful free service that can help you with some answers or walk you through when you and your teen are in crisis.
Covenant House
Another free hotline for parents and teenagers. The Covenant House also deals with run away situations and other crisis along with drug use.
If your teen is not in crisis - does not need intervention within the next 24 hours - you can make an appointment with his/her doctor and ask for more information on other local facilities.
