Who Should Be Invited to My Teens Graduation Party?

Question: Who Should Be Invited to My Teens Graduation Party?

Answer: Who you should invite depends on four factors:
  1. Who does your teen want to invite? It is his shining moment and he needs to have a say on who will celebrate it with him/her. Although, the final say is yours.

  2. How many other teens can you handle inviting? If your teen suggests the whole school stops by, can you supervise that many teenagers? You may not know them all and some could have been drinking, etc. You do not want to invite so many that it will ruin this moment for your teenager.

  3. Is the place where you are having the party big enough to hold all of those you wish to invite? This is a major factor on who you are inviting. If the place is too small, consider two smaller parties or prioritize your list.

  4. The people who will be there for your child in the future should be invited. Inviting extended family and family friends is important, even if they live far away. Letting your teen know when significant events happen in his life, his family and long time friends are there for him is an important life lesson.
