Help your teen enjoy exercise by choosing activities that they will enjoy. For instances, if your teen enjoys playing basketball, think about getting him a net for his birthday, Christmas, or as a reward for positive behavior. If you find he is not using it as much as you wish, don’t give up; challenge him to a game instead. He’ll feel better, build strong muscles, be healthier, and increase their flexibility.

If you spend the time finding out what exercise activity your teenager enjoys doing and give him the opportunity to do it, you will cut out any of the nagging reminders you may feel you have to do. If you feel that your teenager doesn’t have an activity they like, then you need to look a bit more. Talk to your teen about it encourage him try something new.
