Healthy Snacks for Teens

You'll need:

  • Baby carrots
  • 2-inch pieces of celery
  • Slices of green, red and yellow peppers
  • Cucumber slices
  • Broccoli florets
  • Cauliflower pieces
  • Ranch dressing
Arrange vegetables on a platter. Use the ranch dressing(or other flavor dressings) for dipping. Serve using small plates. This snack idea can be made into an after school snack by preparing each vegetable using small plastic containers or plastic zip bags. Then your teen can arrange a plate of veggies with dip when they come home from school.

Healthy Snacks Tip: You can use low or reduced fat ranch or other flavor dressing to make this snack even healthier, but be sure your teen enjoys the taste of the dressing first.
