Edible Spooky Spiders - Halloween Recipes for Kids

These can be messy but older kids love to make them.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 50 marshmellows
  • Small pretzel sticks
  • 1 package mini candy-coated chocolate pieces
  • Parchment paper
Preparation:
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Break pretzel sticks in half. Poke these into the flat side of a marshmallow so that that there is three on each of two sides. These are the legs of your spider. Melt chocolate chips with the butter in a double boiler. Dip the marshmallows spiders and coat them with the chocolate using a spoon. Place on the cookie sheet, put on two mini candies for eyes and allow to cool.
