Science Fair Project Ideas - Eagles
Science Fair Projects for Middle and High School

By Denise Witmer, About.com

Eagles symbolize the bold and the brave. Their hooked beaks and deadly claws have adorned flags that led armies from Rome to Germany into battle. The spot on which one landed dictated to the ancient Aztecs the place where they were to build a city. You can be very proud of a science fair project on them.

Project Ideas:

  1. Which is bigger the male or female eagle? What jobs are different for the male and female? What jobs are the same?
  2. Who does the hunting? What do they eat? Check out what the largest of this species has been known to kill and eat!
  3. How many species of eagles are there? Which ones were endangered?
  4. How many basic colors do eagles see? How many eyelids do they have? How do these help them?
  5. Create a chart that shows the wing span of different types of eagles.
