Craft This:

Make origami ornaments.
Origami is considered a really cool craft, even for teens who don’t like crafts. It’s budget-friendly and looks great when it’s done. To turn a piece of origami art into an ornament, simply punch a hole at the top and add a ribbon to hang it on your tree. Related Resources:

Play outside with flashlights after dinner.
Just because it is darker sooner doesn’t mean you can’t go out and have fun. Flashlight tag is a perfect winter game with or without snow. Invite some friends and tell them to bring their own flashlight and batteries.

    Learn How:

    Rearrange your bedroom.
Decorate your bedroom door for the Holidays. Decorating the house means decorating the whole house. Have fun dressing up your door as a present or with a homemade wreath. See if there is an extra set of Christmas lights to use too.

    Make This:

    Apple Cranberry Cobbler
Another family favorite recipe that is perfect for holiday meals or just a warmed evening snack. Teens learn about family traditions and their importance quickly when they are as yummy as this cobbler.
