Parenting Tips - Teen Health
Preventing Blemishes

By , About.com Guide

The best thing you can do to help prevent blemishes is to encourage your teenager to wash their face with a cleaner appropriate for their skin type. Help them turn this into a daily habit by encouraging your teen to have a morning and evening routine that includes washing his/her face.

You should also become aware of the products that teens use for blemishes when they occur. You may have to try more than one to see which is best for your teen's skin.
