Title of Your Project

Pine Cone Bird Feeder

How I Did It:

To make the pine cone bird feeder you need to make the suet. Then tie the small pine cones to a string, more than one pine cone can be tied to a string. Then cover the pine cones with the suet. Hang in a tree outside for the birds to eat.

Suet
8 oz. of shortening melted, then add 8 oz. of peanut butter and blend. Add 1/2 cup corn meal, 1/2 cup shelled peanuts, 1/2 cup cracked corn and 1/2 cup raisins, mix well.

Tips and Tricks

  • Hang these in a tree right outside your window so you can watch the birds.
  • The bigger the pine cone the more space should be given between them.
