The concept of the series given by the producers is that it follows a hopeful teacher who attempts to save McKinley High’s glee club from obscurity while helping a group of talented kids realize their true star potential. While the show does this, it also follows the life and times of the kids and offers a plethora of topics with which parents can use to talk to their teens.

I enjoy this show and while it can be on the dramatic side of teen life, it really gives a look at what is happening or could happen in today's high school.

Glee is on Tuesday nights at 8pm ET on Fox. Check your local listings.
