When you talk to your teen about sex, be prepared for one or more of these common questions to come up in the conversation.
  • Does sex hurt?
  • What is oral sex?
  • What is intercourse?
  • Can I get pregnant if I _________? (have oral sex, hold hands, etc.)
  • Am I gay?
  • Does my body look normal or is it weird?
  • Should I have sex with my boyfriend/girlfriend if I love him/her?
  • How do I say ‘No’ to sex?
  • Is masturbation normal?
  • How will I know if I’m ready to have sex?
