Just Lost Interest

My 18 yr old son has lost interest in almost everything. Over a number of years his interest in various things (sports, etc.) has been reduced, he is not interested in much (barely interested in online gaming, used to be his passion), sleeps because he is bored (not tired), no interest in friends.

Hereditary Depression?

My father had depression, my grandma, and great grandma (who committed suicide). My brother has it and I'm noticing more signs of it as I get older. I can't get away from everyone else enough! I just don't like other people being around me when I think. Music has helped me a lot. Its something I can escape in and feel like I belong. I have lost concentration and I have a hard time remembering things that just happened. I have back pains and small headaches. I thought it could all be in my head, but in my head, I would never cry this much.

Drug and Abuse among teenagers

Teenagers tend to smoke and drink during their depression moments as they believe drinking hard alcohols and smoking dangerous herbs will take away all the thoughts and brain troubling. Peer Pressure can also be one of the causes why they tend to get themselves involved in such danger, just because they want to fit in a certain group they then tend to do what they are doing and because their close friends that they trust so much and believes everything that they are doing is forever right for them to do too. To avoid all that parents should start teaching their teens about peer pressure to know where they are from and their background not what their friends are doing. Above all, to think about back home on what they are about to do.will the parents really be happy about their actions.

Signs on Teenage Depressions

Teenagers tends to show irritation by their family when their are being told whats right and whats wrong. They tend to have feelings of moving out of the house to stay alone far away for the time being. They tend to feel that enough attention is not being given to them and they feel unrecognized while they are. They tend to be full of arguments all the time. All that can be done is to give them that time that they need to be aware if its possible just to overcome the problem that they are going through ones and for all. Ones space is always the way to balance and organize their thoughts then one day they will come to their senses. But parents mustn't provoke arguments towards them during times like this.

Hates everything

I am so tired of my daughter hating school, hating her school mates, hating classes and hating her teachers. She hates people, hates her dad and I, hates being home, hates being bored and hates it when I make her do her homework. She hates that she doesn't have money but is too lazy to find a job. She sleeps all the time and when she wakes up or when I come home from work, the first thing out of her mouth is "I'm tired!" I'm ready to turn in my motherhood badge!
